David Jones has been covering Penn State football for the Harrisburg Patriot-News for a long time, and as an alumnus of Ohio State, he has been a fan of Big Ten Football for even longer.  In this week's edition of the In The Bleachers Podcast, Brian talks with David about the wide open Big Ten race.

David gives his thoughts about the strengths and weaknesses of Penn State, Ohio State, and Illinois.  He also weighs in on head coaches Rich Rodriguez and Bret Bielema.  Finally, he predicts the Big Ten champion, which ended up to be a bit of a surprise pick in my opinion.

That guy's a bigot.
Don't have him back on the podcast.

Those are some pretty harsh comments to say about someone you don't know. David's a good guy and we appreciate him coming on the show.

Oh, the irony...
Mr. Jones decides that anyone from the South is a "Rube" and a "Hillbilly" and that Rich Rodriguez belongs with such dirt-farmers because he's a low class scoundrel. Sound familiar? Or maybe you just agree with him?
Someone should tell David Jones to be careful with those broad brush strokes.
ITB is one of my favorite football blogs. It will remain so.
There's no Constitutional right "not to be insulted", so little Davie can say whatever he wants and you can put whatever you want on your blog. But don't begrudge me the right to call him out for what he is.

Actually, it's been a few days since I listened to the podcast. Maybe I'm remembering incorrectly and his comments were aimed at Bielema. The end result is the same, however.
