Brian, you assumed there is logic and sanity in how the NCAA Football Committee selects playoff sites. You would have been more accurate in stating “Next week they should host NW Missouri State”, however, for some reason the committee decided that the two-time defending national champions, winner of 40-straight games, #1 ranked team in the poll for three straight seasons, should travel 700+ miles to play a once defeated team that they have beaten twice in the championship game. Try to explain that decision. The only reason that seems plausible is the NCAA wants to level the playing field. And I thought the BCS system was messed up.

Paul thanks for correcting me. Yeah I thought it was a no-brainer that GVSU would get the home game, but I guess not. Also I just found out that Cal (PA) will be hosting the second semifinal game. You can watch the GVSU game on ESPN2, 9pm EST on Saturday.
