		<description>No one "earns' the right to leave on their own terms. Life, sports, business do not operate that way. Paterno has been smart enough or forced to hire good assistants. Recruiting is off and of course the Big 10 schedule is not what the Nitany Lions were used to, so wins are more difficult to come by. Penn State is at least competitive.

FSU is loaded with talent and has been for the past 6 years. Why Bowden hasn't been forced to hire top assistants is a mystery. He should be forced to change his staff or be forced to retire. He is still probably the best recruiter ever. The CEO approach can work, but only with top assistants. If he changes the entire staff well before spring practice begins, Noles will be in the hunt for the national championship in 2007.</description>
