What fascinates me the most is the fact that EVERYONE that even mentions UNC mentions Yates turnover problem, yet none mention his shoulder surgery, or the fact that his shoulder was injured the entire second half of the season. With a bad shoulder NO QB will be successful. The real problem is the people that have no idea about UNC's team, but simply only read the box score and do no in depth study on UNC. Too many "analysts" are making assumptions on a team they only know on paper.

Tar Heals? Duel-threat QB? Dude, to be taken seriously, you must successfully implement spell-check.

That being said, I do believe that UNC will take McNeese St. seriously, but you also had JMU as a potential winner against UNC last year, and that turned out to be a blowout. UNC will be better this year than last, and though McNeese with their dual-threat QB may pose some problems, I don't think their defense will be able to stop us enough to keep it within reach in the 4th quarter.

Tar Heal? I don't consider this article journalism when you repeatedly misspell Tar Heel. I have no respect for Adam Nettina.

While I agree UNC will have to be focused and not overlook McNeese St. I think they will win fairly comfortably. Also, It's Tar Heels, not Heals and a dual threat qb (as in two threats) not duel as in fight.

Tar HEALS? The Tar HEELS stomped (37-14) James Madison to open last season, a team which finished four spots ahead of McNeese State in the final rankings FCS rankings. Considering the prevailing sentiment that UNC will be much better this season (they've been picked 2nd in the ACC Coastal Division) it seems highly unlikely that McNeese state is going to go into Chapel Hill and beat the homestanding Heels in front of 60,000+ to open the season.
