Eddie Robinson was a fixture on the sidelines of Grambling for 56 years and has a record 408 wins in college football, but we have learned today (Via ESPN Radio) that Robinson has died at the age of 88. Robinson was hospitalized Tuesday with what people were calling a “setback”. He had been suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.

I actually met Eddie Robinson when I was a sophomore in high school. He came to our HS and two othe rguys and I got to meet him and get a 15 minute private talk about excelling in school and sports.
