It is hard to believe that three weeks are already complete in the 2008 College Football season. This week on the In The Bleachers Podcast, hosts Brian Sakowski and Adam Nettina dissect last week’s games and debate if we do have enough information to start comparing conferences. With teams playing so inconsistent, it is really hard to get a read on which conferences are good and which aren’t, and once you hear some of the facts, I am sure you will agree.
You also won’t want to miss what we have to say about he SEC and their style of play. With offensive juggernauts such as Auburn, Mississippi State, South Carolina, and Georgia playing over the weekend, how come they can only total 26 points between the four teams? Are the defenses that good, or are the offenses lacking?
Once again we pick the games of the week which are as follows: West Virginia @ Colorado, Arizona @ UCLA, Boise St @ Oregon, Florida @ Tennessee, Georgia @ Arizona St., Iowa @ Pitt, LSU @ Auburn, Vanderbilt @ Mississippi St, Va. Tech @ UNC, and Wake Forest @ Florida St. It will be interesting to see how Georgia bounces back from a lackluster game against Arizona State, and the same can be said about he Sun Devils who are coming off a loss to UNLV.

Week 1 is in the books, join Brian and Adam as the try and figure out what teams really are as bad or as good as they showed in their first week. Is the ACC really as bad as it showed last week? Is USC really the best team in the country? With UCLA’s win over Tennessee, what does that say about the Pac 10, is it more than a one team conference? Those questions and more are answered in this week’s podcast.
The games of the week are BYU @ Washington, Buffalo @ Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech @ Boston College, Miami @ Florida, Mississippi @ Wake Forest, Navy @ Ball St, Oregon State @ Penn State, South Carolina @ Vanderbilt, USF @ UCF, Stanford @ Arizona State, and West Virginia @ East Carolina.
