Texas quarterback Colt McCoy was the preseason pick for Offensive Player of the Year. Oklahoma’s Reggie Smith was the choice for Defensive Player of the Year. How is Missouri ahead of Nebraska? NU’s QB is more proven and Mizzou’s Defense wasn’t good at all last year and they have only 5 starters back on D.

I don’t think you can come close to saying that NU’s QB is more proven that Chase Daniel out of Mizzou, and I’m a Husker fan. Until we see Sam Keller perform wearing Husker Red, he’s a great unknown quantity.

Missouri is ranked ahead of Nebraska because it’s there turn. Further explanation is here. It’s they’re turn to be picked ahead of Nebraska.

Do preseason rankings matter much? Ha!

I wonder why “NO” NFL team wants to offer Mack Brown a job? If Sam proves to be great QB watch out. OU did not have a QB last year and look who won the big twelve. Can a Texas fan tell me why they get top players and this morning ESPN Game Day picked OU to win the big twelve. We had young players last year with a wide receiver as a QB.  Just asking! Go Sooners.
